I woke up this morning thinking about how I always say that I will become a better blogger. But..... I got side-tracked scrolling through my Pinterest account and didn't get much done on my website page (Except creating that awesome intro banner with that beautiful smile of the little girl above...) Anyhow, I learned today that the images that you use on your Pinterest Board Covers can also include keywords that will help your products/posts/items to come up or be seen on Google when people do a search with similar or related keywords.

You just simply save your images that you will upload as a pin post in the Pinterest board of your choice with a rich keyword title that fits your target search results (I created a new folder on my desktop and carefully and thoughtfully gave my picture files specific names that I thought would produce a better search for my customers to really find my stuff). One other thing I learned this morning while having my second cup of coffee was to make my Pinterest Profile look organized and friendly to look at. I made all my board covers look simple yet cute. I'm loving how it looks. Go check it out here and tell me what you think! :)

This is the video that goes along with the one I posted earlier. Again, this worked for all of my students that have the Dell Chromebooks that my district provided for them. Soooo, I don't know if it will work for all of your students and their laptops... but I am thinking that the process might be similar. So here, they will be opening an assignment with a Google Slide for the very first time. The first time that students get an assignment from Google Drive, they will be asked to authorize and allow the process. Once they do this, they will not have to log in again. I logged in as a student to see what they see. The only issue I had with this was that 2 students deleted the text boxes by accident when entering text. The rest of them were able to complete a Google Slide assignment and submit without a problem. Hope this works for you!

Okay, as promised... this video here is for the teachers and then there is one for your students that I will add above. Later when I have a bit of time, I will show you how to make a Google Slide interactive. I have some in my TPT store for third grade Math if you would like to use some already-made slides, but I will show you the basics that you need to make your own... The steps in this video are only going to work if your district has allowed you to use the Google Drive Cloud and has linked with your Canvas... if they haven't I am not sure how it will work for you... sorry. I hope they have it linked for you!
